Somersby Falls Milky Way
For the past 7 years I have visited Somersby Falls annually to photoraph the Milky Way. In 2020 I went 6 times to capture this image under the best conditions.
On this night the water was flowing gently creating a defined silky flow over the rocks. It was the perfect amount of water to show a soft flow of water using long exposures. This was the look I wanted to compliment the night sky above.
It was a windy night and the trees swayed gently during the exposures. Adding more movement to the scene as another layer ontop of what was a beautiful night.
With many elements combining to create a single photo I knew I had a photo of Somersby Falls to add to the previous years. Next year I will be back and I will see what the changing landscape will produce.
