On the night before I travelled to Nobbys Lighthouse to photograph the moonrise against the iconic Newcastle lighthouse. At 11pm I returned home to the Central Coast for a few hours rest to drive to Sydney.
At 3:30am, I drove Sydney to catch the full moon set against the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. All subjects aligned and I watched the moon slowly fade into the city photographing moments beforehand. Watch the attached time-lapse of the morning in the slide of images.
