Sky Oasis

Nestled within the rainforest lies a serene waterfall that aligns with the south celestial pole in the night sky. Scenes like this fuel my passion for creating images that connect the earth and sky. Long exposure photography unveils the wonders of the night, revealing patterns imperceptible to the human eye.
 
For over five hours, I captured the Earth spinning on its axis while the waterfall cascaded relentlessly. This image is 600 individual photographs, illustrating the stars' movement throughout the night.
 
Of the numerous waterfalls I've photographed, this was the most verdant and stunning one I've ever encountered. A hidden oasis, it was a pleasure to immortalize in a photograph that blends art with science, unveiling the marvels of our universe.
