FAQ
Answers to commonly asked questions
Why can you only photograph the Milky Way on specific dates?
Good question! There needs to be no moon in the sky so we can see more stars twinkling at night. Also, the Earth's position orbiting the sun needs to be aligned with the Milky Way stars. Our dates have been selected to capture photographs of the stars under the perfect conditions.
How do we book?
Bookings can be made by filling in the form above. There are limited spots available on the night so be sure to book as soon as possible. There is a no refund policy 14 days prior to your Masterclass. You are welcome to find a replacement for your workshops. Refunds will be given in full minus a 10% booking fee.
Do you have an age limit?
Many teenagers have joined a workshop. On the workshop I guide each person through the whole process.
What happens if it is overcast?
In the event of overcast weather, our Masterclass class session will continue as planned and we will reschedule capturing the stars when weather is better. I will provide you with weather updates 14 days, 7 days and 3 days before our Masterclass if the forecast shows overcast conditions. I will provide you with plenty of notice and available dates if this occurs. Due to the nature of photography, mother nature can adjust our plans.
Can we know more about the unique stars, nebulas and objects in my photograph?
Yes of course, on our night under the stars feel free to ask any questions you have about astronomy.
I do not have a camera, can I join?
Yes of course! I have spare cameras and lens if you are interested in photography.
